Eyebrow hair removal: the rules to follow
Remember to respect the line of your eyebrows. Even if you have found a model on Pinterest with the eyebrows you want, as with hair, it is essential to respect the line of YOUR eyebrows, their nature? In order to avoid any catastrophe!
Take it easy, don’t take the risk of plucking your eyebrows too much, you wouldn’t want to end up with a very fine line that could disfigure you. You can also cut them off if they are too long. To do this, after removing your unsightly hairs, use your brush and brush down. Carefully trim anything that protrudes beyond the line of your eyebrows and do the same by brushing upwards. This way, you’ll lose some length and thickness, but you won’t risk making a hole in your pretty eyebrows.
Homemade depilatory wax for your eyebrows: the ingredients
500 g caster sugar ;
15 cl of water;
the juice of 1/2 lemon;
2 tablespoons of honey.
Choose your organic ingredients for a natural depilatory wax with a clean composition. The sugar will be the base of your wax, in fact, when heated, it turns into caramel and you can’t do better to catch stubborn hairs! Then, lemon is a natural disinfectant and honey is a natural softener, enough to protect and soothe your skin as soon as the wax is applied.
Homemade depilatory wax for your eyebrows: how to proceed?
Start by mixing sugar and water in a small saucepan and place it on your gas cooker over low heat. Stir constantly until you obtain a liquid caramel, keep stirring until the mixture begins to lighten. Check that your wax is ready by placing a drop of wax on a flat surface, such as a plate. If the drop is domed, your wax has the right consistency. If it is too liquid, continue cooking, or add a little more sugar.
Your wax should be malleable. Finally add the honey and lemon and mix well. Once your wax is ready, spread it on a flat surface and let it cool. This wax can be used without strips, you will shape a small sticky dough with your hands and then press it onto the hair to be waxed and pull. You can then shape a dough piece again with the same wax and continue. Once you have finished waxing, touch up your eyebrows with tweezers if necessary.
